As you will be aware, under an Ordinance issued by His

Excellency the Governor of Hong Kong last October or November, the

affairs of Alien firms were placed in the hands of Eritish Liquidators.

Arising out of the above, we shall be glad if you will kindly

inform us whether the firm of Messrs Bune & Rief,

Piece Goods & General Importers &

Commission Agents, 12, Des Voeux Road, Central

HONG KONG

also of Bradford and Hamburg, have come under the operation of the

Ordinance.

In the Ordinance, Clause 13, a further pronouncement upon the

subject of leases to Alien firma was promised will you please say if

it has been issued ? Also if copies of both issues are obtainable in

England, and where ?
